Is it just me?
Have you ever asked yourself, "Is it just me or..."? It seems when the seasons of life get hard is when I tend to ask myself that question the most. The up and down economies of this world tend to instill fear in a lot of us. The news reporters report continual gloom adding to an already blustery spiritual attack we are under. In Hebrews 13:5 it is written, " Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." I choose to rest on God's promises that he will never leave me nor forsake me. I have to continually go to the word and and feed my mind and spirit on what God says about life. After all, my life and times are in my hands and God's hands; no one else's. We cant escape the trials nor the instability of the world in which we live. However, I take comfort in that. Many generations whom went before us experienced the same and many worse scenarios than we have and they made it through. Another scripture speaks that what we go through is not uncommon to man. In other words we are all experiencing or have experienced many similar scenarios. I encourage you today to get into the word of God and study and memorize what the scriptures say are for you. Pray them and love them for they are life to your whole spirit and body. Be encouraged my friends.
